Mayo water damage December 7, 2013

Building 074 - Mayo

A faulty sprinkler head in Room C-162 at Mayo triggered a water flow alarm. UMPD and MFD responded

and found water flooding the first floor. DEHS, DEM and FM responded, as did Fairview Security and
Emergency Management. A majority of the rooms in this hallway that were flooded were medical
records rooms that are Fairview property. SMP provided security due to the sensitive nature of the
documents in the rooms requiring clean-up. Mavo was brought in to provide remediation. DEHS
provided follow-up the next day to determine what additional remediation will be needed.
