| A one inch hot water soldered pipe fitting disconnected at this location |
At approximately 7 am a hot water pipe to a perimeter radiant heat system disconnected at a solder fitting in Mechanical Engineering. Freezing was not involved.
Multiple floors in the mechanical engineering building were affected. Sheetrock damage was minimal. Carpet damage was noted in some student computer labs and desk areas. Lab areas were affected. Several computers were water damaged. FM, Mavo, DEHS (Buck and Carlson) responded at request of FM.
