At approx. 13:35 workers nicked a water line while installing a handicap railing in a women's bathroom on the first floor of Smith Hall. It is now closed for repairs.
FM responded quickly as did employees of the Smith Hall stock room below. Most of the affected area was terrazzo floor with plaster walls.
DEHS was notified via email. Neil C. and Jodi O. from DEHS responded at 14:50 on 8/20/2014 to check on areas affected. Damage was minimal. Need FM hazmat to check out the utility chase across from room #17 for damage to pipe insulation.

Chemistry stock room employees in S-27 will move glassware out of wet boxes on Thursday am.
