| Water leak from drains after heavy rain |
The background information in regard to this project is as follows:
1). Initial call was at 11:16 pm on Friday 6/21/13 by Kirk Richardson 2).
Mavo Systems & Clean Response on site at approx.: 12:00 am to assess and
extract water, install drying equipment 3). Mavo Systems on site on Saturday
(6/22/13) afternoon along with Neil Carlson (DEHS) to identify drywall that
will need to be removed. All identified drywall removed from vestibule and
lower level.
4). Drying equipment to remain on site and operational for the upcoming
week, per Neil Carlson (DEHS) 5). Mavo Systems back on site Wednesday
6/26/13 to remove additional drywall per Neil Carlson 6). Mike Buck (DEHS)
instructed that all drying equipment be removed from site on Monday 7/1/13
The following are questions that I have been waiting answers on:
1). If we are sub-contracting the reconstruction, the Lower Level occupants
want to know if reconstruction is during normal business hours OR after
hours?
2). The vestibule ceiling being replaced with drywall OR a suspended
ceiling (per Neil Carlson's suggestion). I have spoken with Clayton Talbot
(UofM codes) and this does not appear to be an issue other than if a
suspended ceiling goes in that the fire sprinkler heads may have to be
dropped which would require a Fire Suppression Permit. In addition to the
vestibule there is approx.. 6' of fireproofing missing from a structural
beam that would need to be re-fireproofed.
