At approximately 16:00 on September 11, 2016, a woman driving a golf cart struck a water pipe in the hallway outside the visiting and auxiliary locker rooms.
On Sunday Sept. 11, 2016, Andrew Madsen called in Mavo and Clean Response to remove the water and dry out the carpet. He also notified, Athletics, DEM and PSAC. Mike White from Mavo contacted Neil Carlson, DEHS.
9/12/2016 - 8:10 AM Meeting: Representatives from FM, Mavo, Clean Response and DEHS met at TCF Bank Stadium. Clean Response agreed to provide additional fans and dehumidifiers. The space will be re-evaluated on Tuesday am by DEHS with assistance from Mavo and Clean Response. Once dried the carpet will be cleaned with antimicrobial chemicals and dried.
A section of carpet tiles in one room were removed as part of the water response. No sheet rock walls sustained water damage.
